The Horizon 2020 PROSPECT+ project is launching its final call for local and regional authorities to apply at the Capacity Building Programme on innovative financing schemes. The Capacity Building Programme offers mentoring and training on innovative financing schemes in five different areas: 1. Public Buildings, 2. Private Buildings, 3. Lighting, 4. Transport and 5. Cross-Sectoral.
Through its Capacity Building Programme, the project provides in-depth knowledge to cities, regions and their energy agencies on how to finance and implement their sustainable, energy and climate plans in order to reach their climate targets and accelerate energy transition though peer to peer training.
The wide spectrum of financing schemes to be examined in this last learning cycle includes Energy Performance Contracting, Citizen financing, incentives for e-mobility, soft loans, and more, all thoughtfully designed to empower regional energy transformation.
