SENTINEL COVID-19 survey: The long-term impact of the pandemic on stakeholder engagement in European sustainability research

News

The COVID-19 pandemic has large societal and economic impacts and also affects the involvement of stakeholders in European sustainability research projects. The SENTINEL partners (IASS, RGI, TEESlab – UPRC) have developed a survey to explore how the COVID-19 pandemic crisis is affecting the stakeholder engagement activities, its outcomes and the stakeholder involvement in research in the long-term.

The survey aims at stakeholders that are involved in European research projects – policymakers (from local to international), representatives of businesses, industry or civil society organisations, or citizens and communities. The questions focus on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the involvement in research projects, how researchers evaluate their participation in alternative stakeholder engagement activities, and how they would like to be involved in future projects. The target group of the survey is projects that started no later than January 2020 and ran at least until the end of 2020.

? If you are a researcher, engaging stakeholders in your project, please take this survey: https://survey.iass-potsdam.de/index.php/358614?lang=en.
