The Horizon Europe funded IAM COMPACT project has published its first Newsletter on February 2023, (comprising the latest highlights and updates).
This first issue starts with a deep dive into the scope and the aim of the project introducing as well its methodological approach, which is broken down into five highly intertwined components of activities: Moving from Listening to Exchanging, onto Modelling & Expanding, and finally Explaining!
In addition, insights on our exciting kick-off meeting that took place on September in Glyfada, Greece, are wrapped up. Held over two days, the IAM COMPACT kick-off meeting served as the foundational roadmap leading to the project’s successful implementation by bringing together all 22 consortium partners to discuss their key future actions.
Finally, details on the first Policy Publication aiming to provide stakeholders with an overview of the envisaged modelling process of the IAM COMPACT project and the engagement strategy to be employed as a core part of this process, are given. This strategy revolves around a key novelty of IAM COMPACT, the Policy Response Mechanism (PRM), seeking to directly engage with a wide range of stakeholders from different disciplines and geographic scales and to ensure the policy-relevance of the project’s scientific outputs.
