ENERGee Watch: 3rd Learning cycle and first in-person project meeting in Brussels!

The courses of the final cycle of the ENERGee Watch learning programme took place between the 14th and 15th of November in Brussels. The learning programme participants had the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of data collection, monitoring, processing or communication.

The hybrid courses were organized into the four topics of ENERGee Watch, 1. Energy Data collection (acquisition and treatment), 2. Monitoring, Reporting, Verification: follow up on implementation of actions,3. Indicators and strategies on adaptation to Climate Change, 4. Data display, dissemination and validation by end users, and focused on supporting local and regional authorities addressing the challenges on these issues.

Afterward, the first in-person meeting of the project took place on the 15th and 16th of November. The aim of the meeting was, among others, to dive into the key results of the project after the completion of three learning cycles. The project partners discussed the implementation of the programme, the creation of a best practices database, the implementation of replication activities, as well and the dissemination and communication of the project results.

Danai Sofia Exintaveloni presented the replication and exploitation plan where a four steps approach was employed, including 1. Stakeholder Identification (Literature Review), 2. Stakeholder Assessment (Online Survey in Courses), 3. Stakeholder Mapping (Power-Interest Matrix), and development of the 4. Replication Activities.

The meeting was completed with fruitful discussions about the next steps and the upcoming activities toward the final year of the project!
