Sophia Theodoropoulou is a Communications and Dissemination Expert at the Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) with a demonstrated history of working in several EU-funded, international and national projects, such as HORIZON EUROPE, HORIZON 2020, ERASMUS+, and EPAnEK- Operational Programme: Competitiveness Entrepreneurship Innovation. She is currently working on developing the communication and dissemination strategy of the IAM COMPACT project, including project branding, digital positioning, social media management, news writing and the development of promotional materials. She is also participating in the PROSPECT+ project, where she is responsible for monitoring and assessing the progress of the planned capacity building activities and performance goals established at the onset of the project.
She holds a Bachelor (B.Sc.) degree in Educational and Social Policy from the University of Macedonia (UoM) and an MSc in Human Rights in Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and the Institute of Education (IOE)-University of London. She also holds a Certification of Teaching Qualification of Trainers for Adults of non-formal Education from the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP).
Before joining the TEESlab team, she had enjoyed many executive positions throughout her 15+ year career in the fields of corporate communications, public affairs, and business development, combined with leadership roles in Learning and Development (L&D), performance management and succession planning in well-established organizations and academic institutions.
