Ilias Tsopelas

Ilias-Ioannis Tsopelas holds a bachelor (BSc) and a master’s (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is currently working as a Research Scientist at the Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) of the University of Piraeus (UNIPI), participating in EC-funded projects. His research profile focuses mainly on decarbonization pathways analysis of energy systems, and energy and climate policy assessment. He has a computational research background and knowledge of different programming languages (e.g., Python, Fortran) and engineering software (e.g., MATLAB).
