Dimitris Papantonis

Dimitris Papantonis holds a Bachelor (B.Sc.) and a Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialisation in Energy Engineering, from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is currently working as a Research Scientist at the Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) of the University of Piraeus (UNIPI), participating in EC funded projects. His research profile focuses mainly on Building Energy Simulation (BES), demand-side management and energy efficiency modelling, and energy poverty. He has a computational research background and knowledge of different programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) and engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Solidworks).
