Energy poverty across the European Union (EU) remains a pressing issue, affecting 40 million EU citizens due to high costs, poor housing, and limited access to energy-efficient solutions. In this context, achieving a just energy transition depends on collaboration at all levels- from policymakers at the national level to local authorities and communities.
The EC-funded project, LOCATEE, has launched a new promotional video, produced by Euractiv‘s Advocacy Lab, showcasing how our project empowers local authorities and municipalities to tackle energy poverty focusing on private multi-apartment buildings.. LOCATEE will develop innovative tools and methodologies that help local authorities and municipalities better identify, quantify, and address energy poverty within their regions.
The newly released video highlights the challenges faced and the role of LOCATEE in implementing sustainable, inclusive solutions for energy-poor communities.
