Researchers from our team, Danai Sofia Exintaveloni and Eirini Vasilakou produced an insightful report titled “Matching existing tools and resources with needs and gaps on Art. 8 EED” within the context of the LIFE Programme ENSMOV Plus project. The report provides policymakers and key stakeholders with a comprehensive suite of resources to drive energy efficiency across EU Member States.
Drawing on extensive desk-based research this report identifies tools, guidelines, and methodologies, to support different types of stakeholders in the effective delivery of energy savings. With particular focus on the most critical needs, identified through a needs assessment survey carried out in the initial phase of the project, appropriate resources are collected and key gap areas where additional material is needed are pinpointed.
The report is structured around the critical stages of the policy cycle, covering: i. Policy Design and Implementation, ii. Monitoring and Verification and iii. Policy Evaluation.
To further enhance accessibility, we developed an Excel-based tool, the ENSMOV Plus Compendium of Resources, which expands on the report’s findings with additional materials identified during the project.
For those eager to explore our findings, the full report is available here.
