News

We are excited to announce that the Technoeconomics of Energy Systems laboratory (TEESlab) will participate at this year’s European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee)‘s Summer Study that will take place on 10-15 June 2024 at Paris, France. The aim of the event is to cover a broad range of topics from energy consumption and behavior, over policy & evaluation, to local energy planning, transportation, buildings, and appliance and product policy.

This year’s ECEEE summer study serves as a place where the insightful outcomes from our three EC-funded projects (SRI2MARKET, PROSPECT+, RENOVERTY) will be showcased to discover different aspects of the implementation of energy efficiency plans and instruments.

In particular, research associates from our team will be present the following scientific studies:

  • Dimitris Papantonis will provide insights from the LIFE programme funded RENOVERTY project study entitled “Towards the improvement of the energy poverty and energy efficiency policy implementation framework in rural and suburban areas across Europe”. The presentation will take place on the 11th of June 2024 (11:00–12:30 CET) at Panel 1 “Dynamics of consumption” in the session “Engaging with hard-to-reach and prosumer groups”.

  • Dimitra Tzani will present the study entitled “A review on Smart Readiness Indicator: Potentialities and challenges on current initiatives” produced within the context of the SRI2MARKET project. The presentation will take place on Thursday 13th of June (9:00–10:30 CET) at Panel 4: Monitoring and evaluation in times of crises” in the “Building sector Monitoring & Evaluation” session.

  • Danai Sofia Exintaveloni will present the work from the PROSPECT+ project entitled “Barries and drivers in local and regional sustainable energy actions: A review and empirical investigation”.
