We are pleased to share the first edition of the OBSERVE project’s newsletter and the official launch of its website!
Since its kick-off in November 2024, the project is committed to enhancing the way we collect, integrate, and utilise data to assess the energy performance of buildings across Europe.
Our goal is to support national authorities with robust tools and reliable insights that enable the development of evidence-based policies aligned with Europe’s climate and energy objectives.
In this first newsletter edition, we:
- Introduce the project’s vision, objectives, and partner countries
- Present a methodology that links Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) with Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI).
- Announce our participation in an upcoming policy session during the EU’s Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2025.
Together with our pilot actions in six (6) Member States (Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, and Spain), these initiatives form the foundation of a smart, sustainable, and data-driven building sector!
