Sotiris Papadelis holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He has over 10 years of working experience in both consulting and research and development projects funded by national and international sources (EC FP, EC IEE and National Operational Programmes of Greece). His main contribution on the projects he participated concerned the development of decision support systems, as well as the development of quantitative models for policy impact assessment in different economic sectors (energy, transport, climate change, etc.). Mr. Sotiris Papadelis has analytical and computational skills regarding energy policy analysis, the econometric analysis of energy and power markets and the assessment of incentive-based policy measures in capital intensive markets, as well as knowledge of project financing mechanisms and assessment of public-private partnership contracts.
